As Chief Executive Officer of Synapse, Colin Kovas brings over two decades of leadership at the intersection of real estate, finance, and enterprise technology. He previously served as Managing Partner and Co-Founder of imkore, where he helped build a next-generation advisory and technology platform for global CRE and financial services firms. At RealPage, Colin was Vice President of Investment Management, where he led strategy across sales, delivery, and product for the firm’s institutional client base. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Hipercept, guiding its growth into a globally recognized data and tech consultancy before its acquisition by RealPage. At Synapse, Colin is focused on reimagining how investment managers access, control, and act on real estate intelligence—with a platform designed from the ground up to unify data, automate processes, and drive smarter decisions.

As Chief Product Officer and Founder at Synapse, Alexander Cato leads the vision, strategy, and execution of the company’s next-generation real estate intelligence platform. With deep experience across investment management, data architecture, and business intelligence, Alexander is focused on transforming how real estate investment managers interact with data—eliminating silos, automating insight, and delivering flexible tools built for the pace of modern capital deployment. Prior to Synapse, Alexander held leadership roles at RealPage, Starwood Capital, and Hipercept, where he consistently delivered high-impact solutions at the intersection of technology, analytics, and operational strategy

As Chief Technology Officer at Synapse, Mark Harrison brings extensive enterprise technology leadership across financial services, real estate, and private equity. He oversees all facets of platform architecture, data engineering, and product innovation, drawing on deep experience building scalable, compliance-ready systems for institutional investors. Prior to Synapse, Mark served as Managing Director at imkore and VP at RealPage, where he led platform integrations, security initiatives, and special projects across global investment platforms. His earlier roles at Hipercept and Merrill Lynch shaped his expertise in architecting mission-critical technology for asset managers, GPs, and lenders. At Synapse, Mark is focused on building the most robust and intelligent data infrastructure in commercial real estate.
